We are Bozhana and Mila and know each other for nearly 20 years. Our children are the same age, and we often get together while they play. Each of us is different in her own way, but we share one important thing: we’ve never been drawn to what’s considered “normal.” We’re inspired by people with strong character, by those who stand out with their style, and by anyone who follows their own way of thinking, whether in everyday life or in bigger ideas.

At one point, Mila was looking for something more in her daily life as a mother of four - a creative outlet. She wanted to start making leather bags with high-quality full grain leather, hand-stitched pieces that would last over time and through life’s moments. Not mass-produced, not machine-made, but something crafted with intention, featuring bold designs and rich, expressive colours.

At the same time, Bozhana, who works as a teacher, also felt the need for something more in her daily life - something of her own, beyond her daily routine.

One day, while the kids were playing in the park, а conversation turned out to be the beginning of everything. That’s when the real question came up - how do we turn this idea into something sustainable, without compromising on quality?

So we began searching for a manufacturer who could meet all our expectations - high-quality leather, original designs, hand craftsmanship, and a wide range of colours. We first looked in Bulgaria, and later across Europe, but no one could fully match what we were looking for. After four months of emails, calls, and long conversations, we felt discouraged and even took a short break.

Until one day, we came across a small company in Vietnam. Something about them immediately felt right - we loved what they did and how they did it. We reached out, and that’s how Lise was born.

Our bags may be crafted in Vietnam, but they are entirely ours - our designs, our standards, our ideas brought to life exactly the way we imagined them.

For us, a bag is not just an accessory - it’s an extension of your character. Every person carries their world in it - both literally and emotionally. We chose bags because they are something deeply personal, yet practical. Something you use every day, but that can say so much about you without a single word.

We wanted to create something that doesn’t just “do the job,” but creates a feeling of style, individuality, and confidence. Bags that stand out. That don’t blend into the mass. Pieces you can carry for years and that age beautifully with you.

Leather, as a material, also has a soul. It changes over time, it holds marks of life, and it becomes even more beautiful through use. That really resonates with us, because we believe in things that last not just physically, but in meaning.

And honestly - because we couldn’t find the kind of bags we wanted to wear ourselves. So we decided to create them.

The difference starts with the idea itself. We didn’t set out to create “just another bag brand,” but something we personally were looking for and couldn’t find.

First: the design. Every model is created by us, with attention to detail and a desire to stand out. We don’t follow mass trends; instead, we look for character—shapes, colors, and combinations that feel bold and distinctive.

Second: the craftsmanship. Our bags are hand-stitched, which makes them far more durable and unique. This isn’t a fast process, and that’s exactly the point each piece goes through hands that invest time, care, and intention.

Third: the materials. We work with high-quality full grain leather that doesn’t just look good at the beginning, but becomes even more beautiful over time. These are bags made to last through everyday life, travel, and everything in between.

And then: our artwork. This is perhaps our most personal signature. Each bag carries a piece of art: paintings that you don’t hang on a wall, but move with you, becoming part of your style and self-expression. It transforms every bag into something more than an accessory. It’s a wearable canvas with its own mood and story.

And of course: the attitude behind it. Behind every bag, there’s us: ideas, standards, and sense of aesthetics. Nothing is random or “just good enough.” Everything is intentional and personal.
